ന്യൂദല്ഹി: പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ തുണയില്ലാതെ സ്ത്രീകള്ക്ക് ഹജ്ജ് തീര്ത്ഥാടനം നടത്താന് സൗകര്യമൊരുക്കിയത് കേന്ദ്രസര്ക്കാരാണെന്ന പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയുടെ അവകാശവാദത്തെ പരിഹസിച്ച് സോഷ്യല് മീഡിയ. പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയുടെ മന് കി ബാതിലെ പരാമര്ശത്തിനു തൊട്ടുപിന്നാലെ തന്നെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വാദങ്ങള് തെറ്റാണെന്നു പറഞ്ഞ് സോഷ്യല് മീഡിയയിലും കമന്റുകള് വന്നു.
2018 ലെങ്കിലും താങ്കള് കള്ളം പറയുന്നത് നിര്ത്തണം എന്നാണ് ഒരാളുടെ കമന്റ്. സൗദിയില് സ്ത്രീകള്ക്ക് ഡ്രൈവിംഗ് അനുവദിച്ചതിലും മോദിയുടെ ഇടപെടലുണ്ടെന്നാണ് മറ്റൊരാളുടെ കമന്റ്.
നേരത്തെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയുടെ മാന് കി ബാതിലായിരുന്നു വര്ഷങ്ങളായുള്ള വിവേചനം താന് നിര്ത്തലാക്കി എന്ന ആമുഖത്തോടെ പുരുഷന്മാരില്ലാതെ ഇന്ത്യക്കാരായ സ്ത്രീകള്ക്ക് ഹജ്ജ് തീര്ത്ഥാടനം ചെയ്യാമെന്ന വ്യവസ്ഥ പ്രാബല്യത്തില് വരുത്തിയെന്ന് മോദി അവകാശപ്പെട്ടത്.
” എന്തിനാണ് ഈ വിവേചനം, ഈ വിഷയത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ഞാന് വിശദമായി പരിശോധിച്ചപ്പോള് അമ്പരന്നുപോയി. സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്റെ 70ാം വര്ഷത്തിലും ഇത്തരം അനീതി നിലനില്ക്കുന്നു. എന്നാല് ആരും ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിക്കുന്നില്ല. ”
എന്നാല് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയുടെ വാദം കള്ളമാണെന്ന പ്രസ്താവനയുമായി പ്രതിപക്ഷം രംഗത്തെത്തി. അര്ഹിക്കാത്ത ഖ്യാതി നേടാനാണ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്രമോദി ശ്രമിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് കോണ്ഗ്രസ് നേതാവ് ഷക്കീല് അഹമ്മദ് അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു. ഹജ്ജിനു പോകുന്ന സ്ത്രീകള്ക്ക് പുരുഷന്റെ തുണ വേണമെന്നില്ല എന്ന തരത്തില് ഇളവ് നല്കിയത് സൗദി സര്ക്കാരാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
നേരത്തെ പുരുഷന്മാര് ഒപ്പമില്ലാതെ സ്ത്രീകള് ഹജ്ജിന് എത്തുന്നതിന് വിലക്കുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. നൈജീരിയയില് നിന്നു ഹജ്ജിനു ചെന്ന ആയിരത്തോളം സ്ത്രീകളെ സൗദി മടക്കിയയച്ചതു 2012ല് വിവാദമാവുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. ഇതിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിലായിരുന്നു വ്യവസ്ഥ മാറ്റാന് സൗദി തീരുമാനിച്ചത്.
45 വയസില് കൂടുതല് പ്രായമുള്ള സ്ത്രീകളുടെ നാല്വര് സംഘത്തെയാണു പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ ഒപ്പമല്ലാതെ ഹജ്ജിന് അനുവദിക്കുന്നത്. അത്തരത്തില് യാത്ര ചെയ്യുന്നതിനു പിതാവോ ഭര്ത്താവോ സഹോദരനോ മകനോ അനുവദിക്കുന്നതായ രേഖ നോട്ടറി സാക്ഷ്യപ്പെടുത്തി നല്കണം. ഈ സൗകര്യത്തെ പല രാജ്യങ്ങളിലുമുള്ളവര് പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്തുന്നുമുണ്ട്.
